Business story, mission, or fun fact!

I operate a single family farm, and my goals include providing the immediate local community with produce grown and harvested in county. Food origins are very important to me, and knowing how food is treated prior to selling is a key purchasing point.

I want to provide what I look for in food, to my community.

Business story, mission, or fun fact!

A & H stands for Andrea and Hugo, the owners and operators of the farm. They have 8 children with ages ranging from 4-20. Oftentimes, they can be found working on our farm or at the Farmers Market. In 2017 they were named the Farm Family of the Year by the Kansas Farm Bureau.

Andrea’s family has been farming for over a century and the farming gene has been passed down with each generation. Before they started A & H Farm, Hugo was in the Army while Andrea worked as an accountant. After getting out of the military, they decided to move back to Andrea’s hometown of Manhattan to start their own farm and the rest is history.
